On a daily basis, The Arc of Mass. actively monitors and promotes legislation, the federal & state budget process, regulations and court action that protect vital resources and rights benefiting people with developmental disabilities and their families. We fight hard to maintain the stability of community-based programs by advocating for fair wages and cost of living adjustments.

The Arc of Mass. and The Arc of the U.S. sponsor specific legislation to better enhance the lives of people with disabilities. You can help promote these efforts by contacting your elected official to ask for their support (or opposition) to bills that are part of the official Arc platform.

One easy way to make a difference is to use The Arc Action Center to contact your state and federal legislators and take action on alerts posted by The Arc of Mass. and The Arc of the

U.S.

The Action Center also includes a media guide, which allows you to automatically send messages to several newspapers, television and radio stations at once. If you have a story to tell or a letter you wish to send to the editor, the media guide makes it simple.
